PICO Evaluation Kit Boot Mode Settings

Introduction

Below is a picture representation of the boot configuration jumper settings for our PICO baseboards. Configure the jumpers according to the boot selection you need.

PICO-IMX6

	PI	NYMPH	DWARF* (see note)	HOBBIT* (see note)
EMMC (For modules with EMMC on the SOM)
Baseboard micro SD	Not applicable as PICO-PI does not have a microSD card slot
SOM micro SD (For modules with micro SD slots on the SOM)
Serial Download Mode

PICO-IMX6UL/6ULL

Because the i.MX6UL/ULL SOCs have a maximum of 2 MMC/SDIO ports, booting from the baseboard microSD card slot is not possible as both ports are used on the SOM itself. One of them is used for the onboard EMMC, the other is used to communicate with the wifi module.
