Introduction
The EDM-G-IMX8M-PLUS is a System on Module (SOM) based on an NXP i.MX8M Plus Quad core Cortex-A53™ + M7™ processor clocking up to 1.8GHz. It operates in both commercial and industrial temperature ranges from -40 to 85°C. The on-board Vivante GC GC7000Lite, OpenGL ES 3.0 supports Full HD HDMI, full-HD MIPI DSI display, 2-channel LVDS, and 2x MIPI-CSI2 Camera. With its built-in NPU, it can support up to 2.3 TOPS AI/ML acceleration. The EDM-G-IMX8M-PLUS is a member of the TechNexion “EDM-G pin-to-pin” product family, providing scalable embedded solutions with industrial interfaces such as Gigabit Ethernet, USB, I2S, UART, SPI, I2C, PWM, GPIO for sensors for IIoT edge devices.
